“It is a super bum out, but we have to cancel the show planned for the 1st of May. Our venue had some technical glitches that are not able to be resolved in time for our event. We are planning another one -bigger and more evil super soon. Thanks for everyone’s support. Hope to see you at the next one, we will keep you posted
Los Angeles-based illustrator Sterling Bartlett was born in North Texas, moved all around the country during his childhood, and spent his early years cutting his teeth in the DIY art scene of Phoenix, Arizona before landing in LA. Over the years Sterling established a penchant for loaded imagery rooted in his early love of skateboarding and heavy music. Gang graffiti, hip-hop, biker culture, occult figures, and psychedelia also figure prominently. His painstakingly rendered graphite work usually combines two or more of these elements into blithe, layered visual pranks. Sterling’s work never fails to portray his interests; they create intimacy for those in the know, and carry the unadulterated cool of adolescent discovery for those who aren’t. His high regard for technical mastery offers a detailed examination of the relationships particular subcultures have with society at large, as well as with each other.

A big thank you to all who came out to Good Girl Dinette for dinner, your company was all we needed to celebrate the wonderful year that was 2009, and to usher in the even better 2010. We wish our extended family of fans, customers, friends, and artists a happy holiday season, and all the best in 2010.
We thank you all for the love and support. We wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for you.
