// Mr. Rogers’ Cardigan
One of Fred Roger’s iconic cardigans have been donated to the Smithsonian’s permanent collection.
I like to think that Mr. Rogers’ daily costume change inadvertently made us think about how he managed to be great while so understated—and how we try to live up to his standards. His deliberate clothes-changing routine, which ordinarily could have been accomplished in under a minute, may have prompted us to slow down, or be more thoughtful about how we interact with the people and things in our lives.
